February Scripture Writing Plan

Blessed & Highly Favored

I want to start out by telling you that I definitely feel blessed to get to make this Scripture writing plan each month! It means so much to me to have this role in life. God continues to bless me and show me favor every day. And this is just one of those ways!

Before anyone starts to turn green with envy, I do not mean that I have tons of money and that my life is so easy. What I mean is, God allows me to serve Him and His people day after day. He wakes me up every morning and gets me through every day. He grows and instructs me when I am willing to listen. More importantly than any of those blessings, God has given me (and you) the gift of salvation and eternity with Him.

Life really stinks sometimes. Most of the time, it isn’t fair. Bad things happen to each of us daily. With all the crap right in front of us, it’s hard to remember the gifts that our perfect Father has given us.

I won’t pretend like it’s easy to push through. I’m not going to talk to you about the power of positive thinking. I, for sure, will not pretend like I have all of the answers. What I will say is, I know life is tough. I also know God is good. And despite everything going on, there are blessings that have been given to us already, we just have to accept them.

Last month, we worked on personalizing Scripture to understand God’s love for us. I don’t know about you, but I got a lot out of it. The Holy Spirit really worked on my heart. Early on, I learned to let the personalizing come straight from Him. It really helped to build a deeper relationship with the one who made me.

This month, I would like to continue the same routine. Again, the verses are relatively short, so take the extra time to personalize each one. I will be walking you through every day on the Worthy Women Facebook group. I am so excited to see what God does in your life this month!
