After being raised in a home where I was groomed as a child to participate in sexual acts, then placed in foster care where I was kidnapped and raped by 3 gang members, I found myself calling a strip club “safe” because the bouncers would kick anyone out who touched me. This is the mindset that many women take on. Helping women break the poverty cycle in the name of Jesus is personal.
